We have had so many ladybirds in our garden this year that we decided to make it our end of summer term project! We have managed to spot every stage of the life cycle on our rose and butterfly bushes — apart from those teeny eggs. We even got a photo of the ladybirds creating the next generation.
Inside the classroom we have made some sugar paper ladybirds, chose two types of write about (suspected Dyspraxia makes this a challenge, but we are persevering) and are working on posters and a presentation to present to family members.
